Is there a surgical treatment for Meniere's Disease?

Surgical treatments can be applied in patients who do not benefit from drug treatments. Endolymphatic sac surgery, cutting the balance nerve called vestibular neurectomy, and ending all hearing and balance functions of the inner ear on the sick side, called labyrinthectomy, are the main surgical treatments. Despite the high success rate, Ménière's disease surgeries are risky surgeries that require special training and concentration.
