What is the relationship of dizziness to the ear?

The inner ear has two parts and two different functions. The snail part was asked about sound transmission and hearing. The labyrinth part sends data to the upper centers regarding the horizontal, vertical and angular movements of the head with respect to the circumference. It does this through structures called utricle, saccule and semicircular canals. Diseases, drugs and infections affecting the labyrinth will disrupt this data flow and result in vertigo.
